Columbia Design System is a collection of modular design elements with ready-to-use code that is responsive, accessible, and in keeping with Columbia web development, design, security, accessibility, and identity guidelines.
Design System is available to Columbia faculty, staff, and students and can be used on any Columbia digital project. However, only faculty and staff can download logos, and you will need your UNI to do so.
Will the Elements and Components Work for My Project?
If your project is a website, web-based application, or mobile app—or if it has a digital user interface—yes, the patterns will work for you. But read the code standards and documentation for the elements you plan to use early in the design process because there are limitations.
